Our Story.

Beyond eCom was founded in the midst of Covid, when many businesses were left scrambling after the closure of Mymarket.com. With over 20 years in corporate procurement tech, founder Paul Morel saw an opportunity to build something different—more personal, agile, and supplier-focused.

What began as a one-man consulting firm quickly evolved. When Paul reconnected with former colleague and procurement expert Juliana Ambrosi, they realised their shared values, deep industry knowledge, and complementary skills made for the ideal partnership.

Today, Beyond eCom is a small but mighty consultancy supporting some of South Africa’s largest corporates and NGOs, while working with suppliers across the globe. We specialise in supplier enablement and procurement system integration—and we do it with heart, hustle, and humour.

Known for his strategic mind and tireless work ethic, Paul’s experience as GM of Mymarket.com gave him the foundation to build a business that’s agile, effective, and human. If there’s a bug in the system or a process that’s broken—he’ll find it and fix it.

Juliana Ambrosi

Supplier Whisperer & Chief Communicator

Nature lover, ultra-marathon runner, and mom of three boys, Juliana brings clarity, calm, and connection to every project. With deep industry insight and unwavering focus, she manages supplier relationships, training, documentation, and comms like a pro. Her energy is contagious—and her ability to turn even the most reluctant supplier into an engaged partner is unmatched.
